The Sumida Hokusai Museum to Hold the “Your Fuji, My Fuji” Social Media Post Campaign in August

The Sumida Hokusai Museum will hold a social media post campaign titled “Your Fuji, My Fuji” as a tie-in project for its 10th anniversary exhibition “Hokusai and Hiroshige: Two Artists' Fuji, Each Their Own Fuji.” The period runs from August 1 to August 30, 2026. To enter, follow the official X account (@HokusaiMuseum) or the official Instagram account (@hokusai_museum), and post a photo or illustration of Mt. Fuji that you took or created yourself, along with a comment and the hashtags “#すみだ北斎美術館” and “#あなたの富士わたしの富士.” In the case of Instagram, a mention and tagging the museum in the image are also required. Staff members, including curators, will make the selections, choosing one winner each for the Hokusai Prize, the Hiroshige Prize, and the My Fuji Prize. Winners will receive commemorative goods and a pair of invitation tickets to the next exhibition. The results will be announced on September 13 via the official social media accounts and the 10th anniversary website. Videos and AI-generated images are not eligible.
