Workshop at the Sumida Hokusai Museum Where Your Own Drawings Become Goods, Held on September 10

At the Sumida Hokusai Museum (2-7-2 Kamezawa, Sumida City), the workshop "Become Hokusai and Let's Make Fun Goods!" will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00 in the lecture room MARUGEN100. It will end as soon as the materials run out. Draw a Hokusai-style picture or an original character, and it will be turned into goods on the spot. Using drawing manuals such as "Hokusai Manga" as references, you can also try drawing "just as Master Hokusai says." Participation fees are 500 yen for one can badge (three for 1,000 yen); magnets, eco bags, small furoshiki wrapping cloths, and key chains are 500 yen each; and hairpins (kanzashi) are 1,000 yen. In addition to cash, payment by credit card, QR code, transit IC cards, and Harokaru points is accepted. No reservation is needed, and you can join as soon as a seat opens up. Since scissors and irons are used, small children should participate together with a guardian. The event is organized by event partner Zoumushi Kurage Rhythm and the museum.
