The Sumida Hokusai Museum Invites "Your Fuji, My Fuji" Entries on Social Media

The Sumida Hokusai Museum is inviting photos and illustrations of Mt. Fuji on X and Instagram as a tie-in project for its 10th anniversary exhibition "Hokusai and Hiroshige: Two Artists, Their Own Mt. Fuji." The entry period runs from Saturday, August 1, 2026, to Sunday, August 30. To enter, follow the official accounts (X: @HokusaiMuseum, Instagram: @hokusai_museum) and post your image with a short comment and the hashtags "#すみだ北斎美術館" and "#あなたの富士わたしの富士." On Instagram, you also need to mention the account and tag it in the image. Staff members, including curators, will select the winners: one each for the Hokusai Prize, the Hiroshige Prize, and the My Fuji Prize, who will receive commemorative goods and a pair of invitation tickets to the next exhibition. The results will be announced on Sunday, September 13, on the official social media accounts and the 10th anniversary website. Videos and AI-generated images are not eligible.
