"Good Fortune Thanksgiving Festival" Held on Ameyoko Omotedori, Bustling with 100-Yen Sales and Prize Drawings

The annual "Ameyoko Omotedori Good Fortune Thanksgiving Festival" was held on Ameyoko Omotedori in Ueno over two days, Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5. The highlight was the 100-yen sale, which draws crowds every time. It was a generous offer in which the first 25 customers only could buy items worth 1,000 yen or more for just 100 yen. What's more, anyone who spent 1,000 yen or more at a participating store got a chance to draw a lottery ticket right there on the spot. Since there were no losing tickets and luxurious prizes were up for grabs, it seems many people stopped by while out shopping. The autumn 2025 Good Fortune Thanksgiving Festival is said to have wrapped up with great success. Ameyoko is just a short distance from Asakusa. We'll be looking forward to the next event!
