Suzumoto Engeijo's Late-August Run in Ueno: Yanagiya Hanji Headlines the Daytime Show, Sumidagawa Baseki the Evening Show

The official website of the Rakugo Association has announced the program for Suzumoto Engeijo's late-August run (shimoseki, August 21–30). In the daytime show, the intermission comes after Hayashiya Kikumaro's performance, and the second half features Sanyutei Hakucho, Kokontei Shinsuke, Yanagiya Kogiku and others. The headliner is Yanagiya Hanji. In the evening show, Yanagiya Koen, Gokaido Kumosuke and others are followed by the intermission, after which Shunputei Hyakuen and Hayashiya Rakuichi take the stage, with Sumidagawa Baseki serving as headliner. Since the lineup may change due to circumstances, visitors are asked to check before purchasing tickets. The venue is at 2-7-12 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo. It is a 1-minute walk from Exit A3 of Ueno-hirokoji Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and a 5-minute walk from the north exit of JR Okachimachi Station — an easy trip from Asakusa as well.
