Suzumoto Engeijo, Late-August Run: Yanagiya Hanji Headlines the Daytime Show, Sumidagawa Baseki the Evening Show

According to the regular-program information from the Rakugo Association, the lineup for the late-August run (the 21st to the 30th) at Suzumoto Engeijo in Ueno has been released. The daytime show brings together Shunputei Ichinosuke, Irifunetei Sen'yu, Hayashiya Hikoichi, Sanyutei Hakucho and others, with Yanagiya Hanji taking the closing spot (tori) from 3:30 p.m. The evening show features Gokaido Kumosuke, Yanagiya Koen, Shunputei Hyakuei and others, with Sumidagawa Baseki closing from 7:40 p.m. Among the iromono (non-rakugo variety) acts, Rocket-dan, paper-cutting artist Hayashiya Rakuichi and spinning-top performer Mimasu Monnosuke will also take the stage. The venue is at 2-7-12 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo, about a 1-minute walk from Exit A3 of Ueno-hirokoji Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, or about a 5-minute walk from the north exit of JR Okachimachi Station. Performers may change suddenly due to circumstances, so it's a good idea to check before buying tickets.
