The 40th Kappabashi Dougu Matsuri: Winners of the "Character Bento & Character Sweets Contest" Have Been Decided

The winning works have been decided among the entries to the "Character Bento & Character Sweets Contest," which were displayed in front of the Lifelong Learning Center on October 12 and 13 during the 40th Kappabashi Dougu Matsuri (Tool Festival). The selection was made by tallying the votes cast by the general public at the venue together with the votes of the festival executive committee. The winners will receive cooking tools and other items that make cooking more fun, provided by member shops of Kappabashi Kitchen Town. The prizes include a Damascus petty knife, a santoku knife, a copper tamagoyaki (egg) pan, a saucepan, an Arita-ware plate, a café mug, cutlery and sake vessel sets, cat-motif kitchen goods, coffee beans, and more — a wonderfully varied lineup that only the tool street could offer. Please note that the announcement of the prizes will be made in the form of their shipment. Thank you to everyone who entered!
