Ueno Zoo to Hold Night Opening "Autumn Night at the Zoo" from October 9 to 12

Ueno Zoo will extend its opening hours until 8:00 PM for four days, from Friday, October 9, 2026, to Monday, October 12, 2026 (a national holiday), for a special event called "Autumn Night at the Zoo." Admission is available until 7:00 PM, and visitors can stay until 8:00 PM. During this period, a variety of events will be held, including talk sessions with animal keepers, a live music performance called "Evening of Music" at the Shinobazu Pond Terrace, a "Night Vivarium" where the Amphibian and Reptile House is darkened for observation, and a can badge-making workshop. Food shops will be open until 7:30 PM, and the gift shop will be open until 8:00 PM.
