The 41st Kappabashi Tool Festival to Be Held at Kappabashi Tool Street, Featuring Photo & Ogiri Contests

The annual "41st Kappabashi Tool Festival" will be held at Kappabashi Tool Street from October 6th to 12th. On the final day, the 12th, the street will be closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian zone, featuring a variety of stage performances including an elementary school brass band parade, a high school Japanese drum (wadaiko) performance, and cheerleading. In addition, an "Ogiri Contest" (a comedic wit contest) and a "Kappabashi Memories Photo Contest," both themed around the street's symbol, will also be held. The application period for both contests runs until 23:59 on October 8th. Entries can be submitted via Instagram or a dedicated online form, and winning entries will receive luxury cooking tools as prizes.
