"9th Asakusabashi Food Festival" to be Held on October 11 in Asakusabashi

The "9th Asakusabashi Food Festival," gathering restaurants and eateries around Asakusabashi Station, will be held on October 11 at the grounds of Icho-oka Hachiman Shrine (1 Asakusabashi, Taito Ward) and the surrounding streets. The event is organized by an executive committee including the Asakusabashi 1-chome Kyowa Neighborhood Association. Started as a way to build connections among restaurants amid their increasing numbers, the festival saw 22 shops participate last time, selling about 10,000 servings. In addition to the shrine grounds, food courts will be set up on the streets and in open spaces, allowing visitors to enjoy food from multiple shops while walking around. The event runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, rain or shine. Announced on September 15, 2026.
