"Toyotomi Brothers!" Special Taiga Drama Exhibition to Be Held at Edo-Tokyo Museum

Starting September 15, the Edo-Tokyo Museum (1 Yokoami, Sumida Ward) will hold a special exhibition titled "Toyotomi Brothers!" to commemorate its renewal, in conjunction with the NHK Taiga drama. The exhibition focuses on Toyotomi Hidenaga, the younger brother who supported Toyotomi Hideyoshi, introducing the brothers' journey and achievements through historical materials and arts and crafts. Exhibits include the "Statue of Toyotomi Hideyoshi," the "Statue of Toyotomi Hidenaga," and armor designated as Important Cultural Properties. The audio guide is narrated by Taiga Nakano, who plays Hidenaga in the Taiga drama. The exhibition runs until November 8, closed on Mondays. Announced on September 14, 2026.
