Shopping Street Resource Utilization Project "Rediscover Shitamachi Spots" Starts October 15; Asakusa Kokusai-dori on November 4

As a wide-area support shopping street project for fiscal year Reiwa 5 (2023), the shopping street resource utilization project "Rediscover Shitamachi Spots" will kick off on Sunday, October 15, 2023. It's a program where you can rediscover the charms of the area while strolling around the shopping streets of the old downtown (shitamachi). The first installment is on Sunday, October 15: the "Nakajima Benzaiten Festival" at Joyful Minowa. The second is on Sunday, October 22: the "Toyokawa Inari Ennichi Festival" on Minami-Senju Nakadori. And the third is scheduled for Saturday, November 4: the "Mouth of Truth Festival" on Asakusa Kokusai-dori. In addition, submissions for the "100-Character Story" contest are being accepted until October 22.
