"Night Track Walk" Along JR Ryogoku Station's Late-Night Rails Set for October

The JR East Ueno Business Division will hold an event in the early hours of October 18, allowing participants to walk along approximately 2.8 kilometers of railway track from Ryogoku Station to Ochanomizu Station after the last train has passed for the night. Participants will walk across the Sumida River Bridge on foot, and equipment maintenance staff will accompany the group to explain overhead wires, signal equipment, and other facilities. The meeting point is Hirokoji, near the west exit of Ryogoku Station, with departure scheduled for around 12:30 AM and dismissal at Ochanomizu Station around 4:00 AM. The event is open to participants aged 18 and above, with a capacity of 40 people. The participation fee is 19,500 yen, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via JRE MALL Ticket from noon on September 10 to noon on October 10.
