Cultural Lecture at Hikifune Library Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Story of 'Sumida Hocho' Production

On September 19, the "218th Sumida Culture Lecture" will be held at Hikifune Library in Kyojima, Sumida Ward, introducing the production and reporting activities of the local newspaper "Sumida Hocho." The lecturer will be Ryoki Sasaki, the newspaper's editorial chief. He will share the production process of the September issue, behind-the-scenes stories from interviewing former professional baseball player Hisayoshi Takahashi, and various reporting episodes from the past. In-person participation is limited to the first 40 people, and Zoom participation is limited to the first 50 people, both free of charge.
