"Wakako-zake Festival" to Be Held at Kinshi Park, Featuring Sake Tastings from the Drama

The "Drama 'Wakako-zake' Festival," where visitors can enjoy the world of the BS TV Tokyo drama "Wakako-zake," will be held on October 17 and 18 at the Fureai Plaza in Kinshi Park. As a related event to the "Sumida Street Jazz Festival," a special booth will be set up within the Oktoberfest and Game Meat Festival venue. Visitors can sample (for a fee) sake from breweries across Japan that appeared in Seasons 1 through 9. The announcement coincides with the confirmation of a new season, "Season 10," and lead actress Rina Takeda also shared her joy about the news. The event runs both days from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission. Announced on September 4, 2026.
