Taito City and "Chikyu no Arukikata" Publish Guidebook on Places Related to Tsutaya Juzaburo

Taito City, in collaboration with the travel guidebook series "Chikyu no Arukikata" (Arukikata), has produced a free paper titled "Edo Taito no Arukikata: Tsutaya Juzaburo," announced on September 3, 2026, and began free distribution at locations such as the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center. The guide introduces the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo, the media mogul of the Edo period, through a timeline and relationship diagram, and also features maps of highlights and model courses for Asakusa, Ueno, Yanaka, and Kuramae. It covers historical sites related to him that remain in the ward, such as Shobo-ji Temple and Yoshiwara Shrine, aiming to promote circulation and exploration within the ward.
