Eisa Parade on Asakusa's Kokusai-dori Street: 5 Groups to Perform

The Asakusa Kokusai-dori Shopping Street Association announced that the 'Asakusa Kokusai-dori Beat Festival 2026,' featuring Okinawa's traditional Eisa performance, will be held on September 13. Announced on September 2, 2026. Five groups, including Ryukyu Buto Dan Shoryusai Daiko, will perform. The parade will run from 1:10 PM to 4:00 PM, from in front of Taiko-kan to near the Asakusa View Hotel, with additional stage performances at the hotel's View Beat Deck. From 11:00 AM, a raffle drawing will also be held, offering shopping street gift certificates and eco bags as prizes. Admission is free, and the event will go on rain or shine. This parade has been held annually since 2008.
