A Tanabata-themed Storytelling Event Was Held at Sensoji Children's Library

The Children's Library operated by Sensoji Temple has continued its activities to convey the joy of books to local children since its opening in Taisho 12 (1923). On July 6th, "Miyu Onee-san's Story Treasure Box" was held, welcoming narrator Miyu Miyajima, featuring a reading of the picture book "Natsu no Ichinichi" (A Summer Day) and the kamishibai (picture-story show) "Ama no Gawa ni Kakaru Hashi" (The Bridge Across the Milky Way). At the end, everyone sang "Tanabata-sama" together with the children, making it a moment filled with smiles. Announced September 1, 2026.
