Sumida Ward Selects Three New Goodwill Ambassadors for the 25th Term

On August 27, Sumida Ward announced that Narumi Kikuchi, Yuwa Tsumura, and Hina Fukai have been selected as the 25th generation Sumida Goodwill Ambassadors. The Goodwill Ambassador program was established in fiscal year 2000, and starting this year, the age limit has been abolished, opening the application to anyone aged 18 or older who lives, works, or studies in the ward. A total of 24 people applied. The three visited the ward office on August 26 to receive guidance on their responsibilities, and their official certification will take place at the opening ceremony of the 'Sumida Festival / Children's Festival' on October 3. A talk show is also scheduled for the same day in front of Kinshicho PARCO. After certification, they are expected to carry out promotional activities at ward events such as the Sumida River Fireworks Festival.
