Asakusa Kokusai-dori Beat Festival 2026: Eisa Parade and Stage Performances

The "Asakusa Kokusai-dori Beat Festival 2026" will be held on Asakusa Kokusai-dori. The date is Sunday, September 13, Reiwa 8 (2026), from 11:00 to 17:00. The highlight is Eisa. In fine weather, an opening ceremony will be held at 13:10 in front of Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten, followed by a parade along the stretch up to the front of the Asakusa View Hotel until 16:00. Stage performances will take place in the public open space on the 2nd floor of the Asakusa View Hotel, from 11:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00. Performers include Ryukyu Budan Shoryusai Daiko, Meisho Elementary School HAPPY Eisers, Tokyo Nakano Ward Shimpu Eisa, Wako Seinenkai, and the Yoga Elementary School Eisa Team. In case of rain, the program will be changed. At the same venue, a raffle will also be held from 11:00 to 17:00. Raffle tickets are being distributed from September 6 to 13 at participating shops of the Asakusa Kokusai-dori Shopping Street Federation. Please also note that on the day, from 13:00 to 16:45, two lanes of Kokusai-dori (northbound) from in front of Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten to in front of the Asakusa View Hotel will be restricted. Traffic congestion is expected, so please take care.
