41st Samba Carnival to Kick Off Tomorrow at 1 PM — Team Lineup Order Announced

On August 28, 2026, the Asakusa Tourist Federation announced the performance order for the 41st Samba Carnival, set to kick off the following day, August 29, at 1 PM. Eight teams, including ICU LAMBS and Liberdade, will perform in the S2 League, while Ochazuke Sambista will perform in the Theme Samba League. Six teams, including Asakusa's Nakamise Barbaros and the Student Samba Federation, will take part in the S1 League. With a diverse lineup ranging from teams with a long history to those deeply rooted in the local community, the streets of Asakusa are set to be filled with an exciting, energetic parade on the day.
