Sumida's "Kamepan Tachibana Main Store" Reopens with Expanded Factory

The bakery "Kamepan Tachibana Main Store" (Tachibana 2, Sumida Ward), founded in 1952, reopened on August 26. The factory behind the store was expanded, and the store's design was renewed with an exterior that makes use of wood. The store was closed from July 29 to August 25 to carry out the renovation. The signature product "Kamelon Pan" and other long-standing popular items are available on the shelves. President Nobuo Saeki expressed his gratitude to the customers who waited for the reopening, saying he wants to continue to stay close to the community as a "neighborhood bakery." Business hours are 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays, and 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends and holidays, closed on Tuesdays. Announced on August 26, 2026.
