Nagatanien's "Ochazuke Rickshaw" Starts Running in Asakusa, Comedian Crystal Noda Serves as One-Day Rickshaw Driver

Nagatanien (Minato Ward) has been operating a limited-time original rickshaw decorated in ochazuke colors in the Asakusa area since August 26. According to an announcement dated August 26, 2026, at the launch ceremony held the day before, Crystal Noda of the comedy duo Magical Love Ly served as a one-day rickshaw driver and praised the design, saying it "suits Asakusa with its kabuki-style colors." Aimed at letting foreign visitors to Japan enjoy Japanese culture, English-speaking rickshaw drivers will present riders with a paper fan and a cup of ochazuke. The course is a 20-minute route that goes from in front of Kaminarimon Gate through Orange Street and other areas, with fares starting at 8,000 yen for two people. Operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the service will run through September 15.
